Miami’s climate is hot and humid in the summer months. Peak periods are December through to early March when you get all the ‘snowbirds’ (New Yorkers) down for the warm winter periods. March through to May are wildly considered to be the perfect times to visit Miami.

Miami International Airport (MIA) is one of the largest and busiest airports in the United States and serves as a huge hub between the United States and Latin America as well as handling large volumes of direct domestic and European flights from the major European capitals due to tourism and it’s ever growing finance center. However, despite heavy traffic Miami International Airport is quite user-friendly.
Alternatively, there is Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) 30 miles north of Miami which will take 30-40 minutes in a cab.
